Nir is studying Movement since 1996. He came to Rolfing after practicing Buddhist meditation and Ashtanga Yoga as well as teaching before he was inspired by the work of Ida Rolf and the research of connective tissue and Fascia, as embedded in Movement. He was trained in Boulder, CO at the ‘Rolf Institute of Structural Integration’ (RISI) and in Munich, Germany at the ‘European Rolfing Association’ (ERA), greatly inspired by both Institutes’ faculties.
Inspired by many of his teachers and the learning process, he approaches teaching with a background in Philosophy and Art, an eye for detail, with a motivation to promote contemplative quality in other’s, so they can grow appreciation for the process of learning while exploring new pathways to experience movement and practice.
As a practicing Certified Rolfer™ and Rolf Movement Practitioner™ and a long term Yoga Teacher Nir is integrating modalities to support the exploration of one’s centre of Gravity with hands-on bodywork and further movement education.
